Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Seedance2API service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by EvoLink.ai ("we", "us", or "our"). Seedance2API provides API access to AI video generation models, including the Seedance 2.0 model developed by ByteDance.

2. Service Description

Seedance2API provides a RESTful API for AI-powered video generation, including:

  • Text-to-video generation
  • Image-to-video generation
  • Video extension
  • Multi-shot video storytelling

The Service acts as an API gateway to video generation models. We do not claim ownership of the underlying AI models.

3. Account and API Keys

To use the Service, you must register for an account and obtain an API key. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your API key
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect abuse or violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
  • Create deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive
  • Generate content involving minors in inappropriate contexts
  • Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Resell or redistribute API access without authorization

We reserve the right to review generated content and take action against violations, including account termination.

5. Pricing and Payment

The Service offers various pricing plans as described on our Pricing page. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Accept that prices may change with 30 days' notice

Credits are non-refundable and expire according to your plan terms. Free tier credits are provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued.

6. Commercial Usage

All paid plans include commercial usage rights. You may use generated videos in:

  • Commercial products and applications
  • Marketing and advertising materials
  • Client projects and deliverables

You retain rights to the content you generate, subject to the underlying model's terms of use.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by EvoLink.ai and protected by intellectual property laws. The Seedance AI models are developed by ByteDance. We make no claims of affiliation with ByteDance.

You retain ownership of your input prompts and the videos generated through the API, subject to applicable model terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Specific quality or accuracy of generated content
  • Compatibility with your specific use case

While we target 99.9% uptime, this is a goal and not a guarantee for non-enterprise plans.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EvoLink.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EvoLink.ai from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your generated content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your API key will be revoked
  • Unused credits will not be refunded
  • Your generated content remains yours

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.

14. Affiliation Disclaimer

Seedance2API is powered by EvoLink.ai. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ByteDance or any of its subsidiaries. "Seedance" refers to the AI model, and our use of this name is for descriptive purposes only.
